Ghana’s Hiplife artiste, Genesis has released his version of Olamide’s ‘’Wo’’ after the earlier release of the single titled ‘’ Dance’’ and its music video.
Speaking to showbizpunch.com in an exclusive interview, Genesis noted that ‘’Dance’ is an Afro beats song which is essentially a Party song to which people need to dance to in order to stress and have fun. He stated that the song was produced by Robby Beats and he got the inspiration to write the song when he initially listened to the song’s instrumentation at the recording studio.
Genesis revealed that he spent about 30,000 Ghana cedis on the ‘’Dance ‘’music video in order to come out with a quality music video with assistance from Scare Crow, the set designer and it was shot by Steven Films.
Genesis is currently on a Radio and TV tour and after that, he would kick-start his Pub and Club tour to promote the new ‘Genesis’ brand. Commenting on the ‘’Wo’’ refix, Genesis noted that less than two weeks after its release, the song is receiving positive reviews all over the country and beyond the shores of Africa.
